TDLR

According to Texas Department of Licensure and Regulation’s (TDLR) website, Incident Management (IM) and Private Property (PP) Towing Operators are required to be certified by TRAA, or TDLR deemed equivalent, before they are eligible for an IM or PP license.

Effective June 1, 2021, TRAA's NDCP has been relaunched under the new Towing & Recovery Operator Certification Program (TROCP)!

We can upload your credentials to TDLR’s website once you’ve passed the TROCP Level 1-Light Duty certification exam. From there, TDLR can commence with your IM or PP license application. Operators wanting to submit for TDLR must email their driver’s license number and date of birth to info@towcert.com ahead of taking their exam.

Got a question? Email the customer service team at info@towcert.com.

*TDLR requirements are subject to change without notice.
